Vir ‘n Beter Toekoms.

During her career in teaching accounting Louwtjie Venter noticed a void with learners and students in the understanding of the subject. Therefore she created this programme to give our the local community schools online resources to better assist our learners.
She has 21 years’ experience as an accounting teacher for Grade 10, 11 and 12. During 4 years as lecturer at Vista University, training of teachers was part of her responsibilities. Later she joined the Department of Accounting at the University of Pretoria where she lectured first year students in the Chartered Accounting stream for 14 years. At three instances she was also responsible for training of Accounting teachers in Mpumalanga and North West provinces.
Throughout her career she gave extra accounting lessons to pupils and students who needed extra help with the subject.
I am passionate about accounting and try to culture the love for the suject to others.
E-learning
At a time when change happens faster than ever, a key advantage of e-learning is that it has quicker delivery cycle times than traditional classroom-based instruction. In fact, research indicates that e-learning reduces learning time by at least 25 to 60 percent when compared to traditional learning.
E-learning cuts down on the training time required because:
It does not take as long to start and wrap up a learning session
Learners set their own pace, rather than the pace of the group
No travel time is needed to get to and from training events
Learners can focus on elements of a programme they need to learn and can skip what they already know
